Don’t come here please. Tourists will spoil the quietness and serenity of the place.

The view is really nice. But there are lots of bamboo thickets where bears look like they might appear. You can climb up from below in about 5 minutes, and there is space to park a car, although it is not an official parking area.

It makes me think of the settlements and railway submerged by the construction of this dam. You can get here by car, but the entrance from the national highway is hard to find.

It is a beautiful reservoir. There were traces of tracks in the viewing area, but… I wonder if these are remnants of the railway?

Snow is cleared in winter too. You can see タウシュベツ川橋梁 far in the distance.
