Google review show is open high rating as a total bullshit. We drive half an hour all the way there and all we get is three person inside working Google show is open. We knock on the door. They refuse to come to the door and when we knock hard enough after about five minutes, they walked through the door and told us is close. We showed them the Googlethat it says it’s open. They say no next year, but there was a recent review two days ago, how stupid can it be half an hour wasted time driving in the snow total crap service Not worth your time going there. All reviews are questionable.

The villa’s exist to facilitate slow paced fine dining experiences in the restaurant. Located several miles south of Kamikawa in the foothills. Service was both professional and friendly. Our multi -course French style dinner sourced on local ingredients was superb. The savory breakfast crepe weeks later still generates feelings of immense gastronomical satisfaction. The small intimate restaurant with an open kitchen sits atop a hill, at the same time it’s expansive windows provide a feeling of being a part of the majestic surrounding mountains and nature. The restaurant is far from any municipalities. To save diners a post-dinner perilous drive through the mountains in the dark, the villas down below the restaurant provide shelter for the night. We opted for a room in a shared villa with 2 other rooms. Small, but modern and well designed to provide all the needed comforts between dinner and breakfast. A real treat, highly recommended.

Great meals with quality ingredients. Staff were accommodating to our party that included pescatarian, no pork and no dairy. Local sake was served and a good Italian red.
