I ordered 怒涛握り. They said there was no sea urchin. Is it even possible for a sushi restaurant not to have any in stock? And what came in place of the sea urchin was squid? That surprised me too. As if squid and sea urchin cost the same (laugh). There won't be a next time.

This was my first visit. I came to Iwanai, where an acquaintance lives, and visited here for lunch as their treat. During lunch, they told me how this port town used to be lively with large fish landings. The sushi in the photo alone is plenty, but it also came with grilled fish, Shine Muscat for dessert, and iced coffee. The service was very good, and I enjoyed the delicious meal. If you come to Iwanai, how about visiting at lunchtime? Please give it a try.

Around here at this time of year, places require reservations, so you can't get in. I got into this sushi🍣 place easily. I had the sea urchin rice bowl, which was at market price and a little expensive, but satisfying and delicious. I'll stop by again.
