MINOTAKE is a small local restaurant. We cook with what the land and sea give us, in each season. This is not luxury food, but honest food

I had the 6600 yen course meal. The dishes were not only tasty but also very beautiful to look at, and soothing. Above all, the mackerel bou-zushi was delicious, so much so that even I, who am not good with mackerel, want to eat it again! The steak was delicious too, and the sauce was also very good. The shop's atmosphere is nice, and the service has a homey kindness, so I was able to have a very enjoyable time. I'm curious about the other courses and the à la carte menu too, so I'd like to go again!

In the downtown area of Iwanai (few people about), at the back of the second floor of a building, a door that looks promising (just my personal impression (^^)) When I opened the door, the owner welcomed me with "Irasshaimase." The shop is small, with 4 counter seats and 2 tables. There are 6,000 yen and 7,000 yen courses, and we had already reserved the 7,000 yen course, so the recommended board lists recommended sake and wine. ① Tamagoyaki made with eggs from a carefully chosen poultry farm (slightly sweet with a rich egg flavor) ② Appetizers on a large tray ・Sashimi (tuna, flounder, abalone, Hokkaido shima-ebi) ・Mackerel bou-zushi (this is incredibly good) ・Signature fried chicken wings (crispy skin, delicious) ・Namako vinegared sea cucumber (the crunch is irresistible) ・Tender-simmered octopus (a Hokkaido specialty) ・Simmered tsubu whelk ・Iburigakko potato ・Shiso eggplant ③ Zucchini stuffed with shrimp shinjo ④ Stir-fried watari crab in chili sauce (you hold the watari crab in your hands and dig in the style is to eat without worrying about getting your hands dirty) ⑤ Wagyu steak (not very fatty, delicious lean meat grilled tender) ⑥ Risotto topped with sea urchin (the slightly firm risotto is good, and pairing it with delicious sea urchin makes it a luxurious dish) All of it is a collaboration between ingredients sourced from the Iwanai area and the owner's creative cooking. A shop where you can enjoy Japanese, Western, and Chinese flavors. The alcohol selection is also well stocked. My recommendation is Ocean99, a sake from Chiba Prefecture that's perfect for summer.
