Very yummy & good value. Opens 11:30-14:30 ; close every Tuesday. We had the gizzards & hearts upsize bowl 1050yen , normal bowl 770yen. Hot yasai noodle 770yen, set tempura & hot or cold noodle set 770yen. Very delicious.
View on GoogleStopped in for lunch and ordered the first thing on their most popular choice menu. A piping hot soba noodle soup with pork and a smattering of green onions and a mushroom. Little did I know it was a very spicy version of soba that I had become familiar with. Way too spicy for my taste but I persevered and finished all that I could sans broth. Overall it was delicious! (Spiciness aside). From my few functioning taste buds I could taste the sweet broth, the firmness of the noodles and the perfect cut of pork which were few but still juicy. I believe the broth is a mixture of curry and tomato sauce blended with the seeds of Thai chili peppers. It was pretty damn spicy. At ¥980 it was a pretty big bowl and well worth the value. Think I'll try not to Russian roulette my next meal choices. 😅

View on GoogleMotsu soba is the most popular dish at this place! I love spicy miso, so I had the Jigoku Motsu Soba. I'm glad they have spicy miso. Personally, the spiciness was manageable. Actually, it was spicy but just the right amount of spicy, and above all it was a flavor I love, so I was happy 😍💖 Photography of the menu and the interior is supposedly prohibited... but quite a lot of people take photos and upload them, huh. lol There's a notice saying they won't do anything special that's not on the menu, no secret menu items, which is funny. lol The menu is extensive, which is nice. They also have rice bowls like tendon, butadon, and negitoro-don! There are 4 counter seats and quite a few table seats, so it's spacious. It was so delicious that I want to go again!
View on GoogleOne-of-a-kind "motsu soba": the bowl is overwhelmingly filled with chicken offal. No gamey smell at all, with concentrated flavor. You can choose your noodles: either the hearty "thick country soba" or the smooth-swallowing "thin sesame soba." Forbidden finish: dunking white rice into the leftover soup to make "ojiya" is the best. A heads-up: it's an extremely popular restaurant, so "sold out of soba, closed for the day" happens all the time. Visiting early is a good idea.
