I went to the music festival “JOINALIVE”, held over 2 days at the amusement park “北海道グリーンランド” in Iwamizawa Music festivals have various food vendors But JOINALIVE gets incredibly crowded So buying food can be quite difficult That’s why the place I use every year is “レストハウス太陽” here It’s up the hill in the amusement park They sell snacks outside, and dishes such as curry and noodles inside This year too, on day 1, I had a corn dog and imomochi outside On day 2, the performance schedule meant lunch would be late So I finally decided to have breakfast inside I hesitated, but the price was almost the same even without a cutlet So I chose katsu curry There’s also a restaurant at the bottom of the hill in the amusement park But 太陽 here is a little cheaper In exchange, there’s no air conditioning, and fans provide the cooling You order using meal tickets It was just after the park opened, so there were no other customers I waited while looking outside I could see people arriving one after another for today’s festival I sat near a fan, but it was already hot even at this hour Eventually the food was ready, so I went to collect it The cutlet was modest in size I took a bite It was tender Was it pork?
