Junkissa Koto The interior is dim, but the atmosphere lets you spend time quietly. Smoking seems to be allowed, so it's a no-go for those who don't like it. I enjoyed the toast set. It comes with a boiled egg and snacks. There's no parking lot, so you can park at the municipal parking lot (public corporation) for 210 yen per hour. A nice shop where you can soak up a Showa-era vibe. There's also a matcha and sweets menu, which is appealing in its own way.

The cigarette smell inside is fairly strong, so be careful if you don't like it. Personally I liked the shop's atmosphere, the food, and the intelligent, refined owner, so I'd like to visit again.

A really nice little café, cheap and good. The owners are an elderly couple, very kind. The matcha milk and the butter & jam toast are excellent. Three of us spent under 2000 yen in total

An old-fashioned coffee shop open on weekdays Drinks are basically just under 500 yen each, and a coffee and toast set is around 700 yen, available all day, which is a good deal. Personally, I appreciate that smoking is allowed. The shop itself isn't that big, so keep that in mind.

A shop where photos inside are not allowed. So you basically can't upload images of the menu or the food itself. That's apparently 'so as not to bother the regulars.' So what's inside is a surprise for when you go. Inside, although the shop calls itself a 'Japanese-style junkissa,' there are Western touches mixed in here and there, which is a bit chaotic (lol) Japanese-style background music is playing, but the TV volume is a bit louder (wry smile) Still, the atmosphere seems pretty good. On my first visit I ordered the 'Ham Cheese Toast' (with coffee, 650 yen). It's not listed, but it also came with 1 boiled egg and 2 cherry tomatoes. The main ham cheese toast came in 3 pieces, crispy and easy to eat, and the price can't be beat. Of course, it pairs ◎ with the coffee. However, no fork or chopsticks are provided, so if that bothers you, pocket tissues are a must. Eating toast in this atmosphere is quite a treat. If the exterior of this shop catches your interest even a little, your best bet is to go in without hesitation. The polite and cool owner and staff will look after you.
