This restaurant is great if you want a quick ramen. They have set meals that come with friend rice which is helpful if you’re a big eater like me. The staff are friendly and I typically like the music choice in the restaurant. They use vending machine tickets so the service is always very quick. It's also right next door to a Family Mart, so if you want desert right after eating you don't have to go far.

View on GoogleWhether you get shio, miso, or shoyu, the tonkotsu broth is so overpowering that they all taste the same. Recommended for tonkotsu lovers, but not suited for those looking for something light and refreshing. If you asked me whether it's good or bad, I'd say it's on the good side.
View on GoogleWeekday, 6 p.m. After entering, ticket machine. For large bills, you ask the staff to make change. My son got the shoyu chashu. I got the negibaka miso. There were 3-4 people inside. After handing over the tickets, it arrived in what felt like about 5 minutes! They always serve super fast! Two kinds of green onion. Irresistible for green onion lovers. The miso soup is also superb. The shoyu is tonkotsu-colored, not like a typical shoyu. Lots of back fat, but not too hot, so it's just right for kids, and it's a rich soup that isn't heavy! Are the noodles Nishiyama? The fried rice is also superb! But even if you order it on its own, it's the same small portion as in the set, so I want to eat my fill of just fried rice! The shio is also superb! The tsukemen, or was it abura soba? That one had lots of noodles too, it was good! My kid will only happily eat the ramen here! If you tell them you want a kids' bowl, they have them. In the fiercely competitive Iwamizawa ramen scene, this is my number 1 favorite ramen shop, and even though I'm a rice-or-soba person, it's the only place I go once a month. I finish every drop of the soup! The parking lot is shared with Tsuruha and others, so lots of cars can park. There's counter seating, 2-person and 4-person tables, and a 6-person raised tatami area.
View on GoogleRamen loaded with back fat and on the rich side Might be tough if you don't like heavy food, but it seemed hugely popular with young people
