We didn't know much Japanese and the menu was mostly in Japanese. The staff were very helpful though and patient in explaining to us the menu. The dipping broth was flavourful (with hints of yuzu) and the texture of the somen noodles was al dente (spot on). The portions are generous as well. We visited this restaurant as a pit stop between furano to sapporo

Had it for the 1st time yesterday. Greeted by the owners and had a wonderful meal here. The noodles was delicious. Will go back again.

Super yummy noodles in special broth with ingredient such as Yuzu. The noodles was a bit translucent and unlike the regular ramen. Love the texture, rice bowl with chicken and egg is good too. Super friendly boss though we speak minimal Japanese, he was helpful in offering advise on menu and lady boss gave my Son lotsa snacks as souvenirs.

100% do not recommend here as a foreigner. My wife were being told off very rudely. They even treated Japanese customer very badly so i think it will be evem worst if it is a foreigner customer.

Finally... I had some free time and was able to visit. Getting to Menmen is tough for me since I come from outside Hokkaido, so I can't go unless my business trip timing works out. I'd tried 3 or 4 times before — they weren't open even though it wasn't their regular day off, or I didn't make it in time — and I finally made it! I like mushrooms, so I ordered the "Seasonal Flavor: Mushroom" version I saw on the sign outside, plus the chicken rice. And lo and behold... the broth was warm! I'd only pictured eating it ice-cold, "Oh n-no, I messed up~ヽ(´Д`;)ノ" I thought as I slurped the somen. As I suspected, I felt the noodles here are best enjoyed chilled. I bought 3 boxes as souvenirs, congratulated the proprietress on the shop's anniversary, and headed home. When my number was called once and I didn't notice, the owner got a little annoyed with me. Sorry about that~. Until we meet again~👍
