鮨爽醇鳥 ひだかSushi So Jun Tori Hidaka
It's a small, privately run sushi restaurant, but it has plenty of à la carte dishes such as the locally sourced "salmon soy sauce ramen" and the original "marinated grilled chicken wings," so customers who can't eat raw food can enjoy it together too. The storefront is a bit formal, but lunch starts from 700 yen, so feel free to drop in.

Lovely sushi place with a salmon ramen option and very reasonable weekday lunch menu. Great spot! We had the special sushi set and the battera ramen. Would recommend.
View on GoogleI went for the salmon soy sauce ramen, but the sushi and Ishikari nabe were what was delicious. Nationally, Ishikari City is famous for Ishikari nabe. I'm from Ishikari City myself, but even in Ishikari City, surprisingly few places serve Ishikari nabe. This place can be called a rare find. You can order the Ishikari salmon soy sauce ramen at lunch or dinner. Adding 2 pieces of battera is a good deal. Whether you order alcohol or soft drinks, they give you an otoshi (starter). Seating looked like 5 counter seats and a raised koagari area (4 tables × 6 people). About the Kodoku no Gurume Goro set. There are A, B and C sets, and all of them are Ishikari nabe + saba-gari maki + some sushi. One saba-gari maki roll is cut into 6 pieces. The sushi differs by set. Set A, 2,800 yen: ikura, engawa, crab and 1 saba-gari maki roll. Set B, 3,000 yen: scallop, octopus, botan ebi and 1 saba-gari maki roll. Set C, 4,200 yen, is set A's sushi plus set B's sushi. I found out you can order Ishikari nabe from a single portion. The Ishikari salmon soy sauce ramen, honestly, was an ordinary light shoyu ramen like one I've had somewhere before, and I couldn't really tell the salmon soy sauce. The Ishikari battera had a nice vinegar kick, the nagaimo yam texture was good, and the lightly smoked salmon and shiso in the pressed sushi were delicious. The chicken wings are delicious. The sesame-soy sauce and the grilling gave them a fragrant savoriness you won't find elsewhere. The Ishikari nabe's miso seasoning is great. The balance of the many ingredients, starting with the salmon, is delicious too. The tuna is delicious hon-maguro. Sushi-shop tuna. This is good. Light fat in the red meat reminiscent of chutoro. Delicious. Engawa. Refined fattiness. Delicious. Elegant. Sushi-shop engawa really is different. The plates have character too. A place I want to come back to!
View on GoogleA handy place that serves not just sushi and tempura but izakaya dishes too. Good for lunch with coworkers, after work, or a family meal. There are also several dishes using local Ishikari ingredients; you can feel the love for the area, and it struck me as a restaurant loved by locals.
View on GoogleFirst visit. We made a reservation and ate. The chicken wings were the best, and the sushi was delicious too. My husband had eel.
View on GoogleOur family came here on a short trip. Every dish was amazingly delicious, but especially the house-specialty marinated grilled chicken wings were simply superb ☺️ The staff and owner were very attentive too. When we come to Ishikari again, we'd like to visit again.
