Furusato Park is a hidden gem that showcases the captivating coastal landscape of Ishikari. Unless you have a car, then you won't be able to visit this park. As I entered the park, I was greeted by a picturesque setting, complete with rolling hills, lush greenery, and a breathtaking view of the Japan Sea. The tranquility and serenity that permeate the surroundings make it an ideal place to unwind and connect with nature. Sadly, there is nothing much to do in the park but enjoy the beautiful scenery. Regardless, it's a nice place to watch the sunset.

Even though it was Sunday, we had the place to ourselves. It's on high ground, so you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. It's a hidden-gem park I'd recommend to families too. However, the rest house wasn't operating, so there are no toilets.

You can get here via the restaurant that's currently closed🎵 On a clear day, it's a spectacular viewpoint where you can see the Sea of Japan's horizon😀

I didn't know there was a park in a place like this! You could see across the sea, it was beautiful, and there weren't many people. It was a lovely place.

Apparently the coffee shop is only open on Saturdays and Sundays.
