The biggest scam in Japan so far. I understand it's too hot for the reindeers. However why you can't visit them at least inside, as you can in literally every other farm in Hokkaido?? During summer you can see them PER DAY for max 20 minutes. This is not even for 1 star, it should be deleted from the map...
View on GoogleThe Reindeer Sightseeing Ranch is a popular attraction where visitors can see the town’s famed reindeer up close. The site also has a restaurant that sells good ramen, making it a convenient stop for a meal while enjoying the view of these majestic animals. In winter, the ranch comes to life with fun activities, especially for kids, who can experience reindeer sleigh rides, adding a magical, seasonal charm. However, in summer, the experience feels quite different—the reindeer, often seen resting in their enclosure, seem like they would prefer more freedom. While it’s an interesting place to visit, the best time to go is definitely in winter when the reindeer are more active, and the seasonal activities make the trip more worthwhile.
View on GoogleA nice place to drop by if you are near the area. The reindeer are well kept, with wide open fields for them to roam around. They also have ramp goats onsite. We went on a rainy day and bought the food at the counter to feed the reindeer. Rain doesn't really seem to deter them and they will approach even if they are far back behind as a group.

View on GoogleHave a few reindeers roaming in a fenced up area. Hungry to be fed. Only saw one with antlers. Lunch was in a cosy looking restaurant. Not bad.
