Drawn by the sound of the Duolingo app coming from inside the bar, I walked into this unusual establishment, a cross between a worn-in PMU and a Belle Époque karaoke. I wasn't wrong: the manager is very welcoming to foreigners, and really wants to speak English with you to improve his level in that language! He was so kind that he gave me TWO coffees (when I had only ordered one!) as well as a little lion-shaped talisman to protect me from bad luck. I really recommend it, especially for gaijins!

A karaoke place that's indispensable in the countryside. If you don't want to sing, you can drink on the 1st floor. I wish they'd work harder on cleaning the toilets and rooms, but the owner is elderly so it can't be helped, I suppose~ Also, it's a pity there's no price list.

You can drink, do karaoke, play mahjong, and it's cheap.
