A local fisherman restaurant. Not many variety of seafood. Mainly selling Oyster and scallop . All are freshly caught. Price is much lower than restaurant in town area. They will serve and cook at the heated pan at the center of the table.

This is the first time I've been this appalled by a restaurant. I ordered the Whale Smash Burger, but what arrived was obviously something completely different just from looking at it, and there was no explanation whatsoever. When I asked, I was told, "We ran out of cheddar cheese, so we switched to a different cheese." If they're short on ingredients, they should say so before you order, and if they can't do that, isn't temporarily taking the item off the menu just normal business sense? Also, the "2 patties" clearly stated in the item description—no matter how I looked at it, I could only see 1. When I pointed this out, another staff member who seemed to be in charge gave the nonsensical explanation that "it's a smash burger, so it's smashed." This place posts its cooking process on Instagram, where they stack two cheese-topped patties onto the bun. So you should easily be able to tell from the outside that there are 2 patties, and they should come apart easily by hand, but the item we actually got clearly had only 1 and couldn't be separated by hand. What are we to make of the published cooking process not matching the item actually served? On top of that, from the time we came in until we left, there were no other customers, so there should have been plenty of time for the staff to share information, yet the person who seemed to be in charge didn't seem aware of even the first problem. Information wasn't even shared until a customer pointed it out—this handling left me with strong distrust, a problem that comes before customer service itself. In taste, looks, and portion, I honestly didn't feel it was worth paying 800 yen at all. The published cooking process differing from the actual item, the attitude of not explaining until called out, and the lack of coordination among staff—any way you look at it, I feel it's not functioning as a restaurant, and I never want to go there again.

Located on National Route 228, within the grounds of Kamiiso Fishing Port. It used to be a grilled shellfish restaurant where you could grill and eat oysters, surf clams, and more inside, but after the renewal it now sells seafood. Apparently they're considering events like barbecues where you can grill seafood on grills, so I'm looking forward to it. For in-store sales, besides the sashimi and such lined up in the refrigerated cases inside, a flyer with the day's recommendations is posted out front; quantities seem limited, so numbered tickets are handed out. When I went to check 30 minutes before opening, people were already lining up, so I joined the line and got all the recommended items. I was able to buy a tuna assortment and an oozuwai crab shell platter packed with crab miso at very reasonable prices. When I left, the line was quite long and some items had sold out.

2025/9/30 (Tue) Came to Hokuto City on a motorcycle run🏍️〰️ and stopped by because I wanted to eat "grilled shellfish"🔥🐚🦪 I was told, "The shop has been renewed, so we no longer do 'grilled shellfish' or 'eat-in'"😱💦 They had delicious-looking sashimi lined up, shipped directly from the fishing cooperative🐟😋
