Nice tonkatsu. I ordered the one with meat sauce. But curry shd be good too. The ramen noodles are very chewy and springy.

Perfectly good and fast restaurant with actually very good coffee and curry. Excellent place to have lunch coming down the mountain.

They would not substitute the seafood tempura for more vegetable tempura (meal was supposed to be mixed vegetable and seafood tempura, I asked if they would be able to just do the vegetables for my meal but no can do). Not a single vegetarian option, miso soup, ramen, soba and others all have fish in them. For a location that depends on the snow they seem to know very little about ways to protect the environment (though this is quite common for restaurants in Japan). Additionally the restaurant was not very peaceful as they shout out every 30 seconds on a loudspeaker about which order is ready to be picked up, and it took over 25 minutes for my husbands ramen to show up.

We had a good dining experience here! After our exploration of Asahidake, we opted for a late lunch at Sugatami Restaurant. I decided on the flavorful Spicy Miso Ramen accompanied by Tripe Stew, while my wife chose the Spicy Miso Ramen paired with a delightful mini curry and rice. Ella, on the other hand, indulged in a delectable serving of curry rice topped with a tender pork cutlet. Heads up! They only accept cash. =)
