Stumbled upon this Izakaya while looking for food options. The boss says only set menu for dinner and gave us 3 options. The meal was wonderful and the cheesecake was as good as it gets.

This place is great! Not only does it come with a beautiful design and atmosphere,the cook/owner also serves delicious food,all prepared by himself, while being attentive enough to take care of other guests and refilling drinks. We are super happy to have found this place by coincidence. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

Walked in on a Wednesday night at around 6pm (open hours). It was quiet, but there were folks dining inside. We took off our coats and were confused when we weren’t greeted at the door. We waved down a worker from the kitchen, and he confronted us with the strangest non-engaged face I’ve ever seen in Japan. We asked him questions, but he didn’t respond. My girlfriend thought he was deaf/mute, but then he responded aggressively and we quickly grabbed our jackets and exited the restaurant. I’ve traveled all around Japan for multiple months, and this was by far the worst interaction I’ve ever had with a Japanese person, much less a restauranteur. That guy needs to go to therapy or something.

Perfect place to eat local food. The owner is very nice and polite. We will visit again.

Ordered lunch plate, the food itself is okay however the owner’s attitude, as others said, ruins everything. Won’t go again.
