I visited for lunch during one of my work visits to this area. There is a big parking space next to the restaurant. Inside the restaurant there are different seating options available as well. The food was served quickly and it tasted great as well.
View on GoogleFrankly it’s not easy to me to find a genuinely great soba restaurant. Here not “ only” the soba ( buckwheat) pasta was surprisingly good, but also the soup part ( tsuyu); you can sense the katsuo ( bonito) and the kombu ( seaweed) deli tastes. Tempura also were better than expected. Not only perfectly fried ( not over fried ) the prawn was covered nicely and thinly with the tempura cover; and the taste…that was the best! Keep up the great cooking!!!
View on GoogleWe tasted cold soba (buckwheat) noodle in summer. It was so delicious. The noodle was handmade out of the buckwheat grown in Hokkaido. The amount was generous. Clean, bright, comfortable. I want to try Donkatsu-don (rice with fried pork steak) next time, which I heard also very good.
View on GoogleA soba restaurant across from the Jukai Road Hidaka roadside station. The roadside station also has eateries, but perhaps this place is tastier, as it is nearly full. There is raised tatami seating, making it easy for families with children to eat here. The staff are pleasant and brisk, smoothly showing customers to their seats. The soba was delicious, of course, and the tempura was crisply fried and tasty too.
View on GoogleA soba restaurant right near the Jukai Road Hidaka roadside station. The eateries at the roadside station were crowded, so I ate here, where it was quiet. I ordered maitake tempura soba. The soba had a smooth texture. The broth was on the sweet side. For me, it was a bit… The tempura was delicious, with the maitake's texture and the crisp batter. I had cold soba this time, but if I get a chance, I'd like to try the hot soba too.
