We tried the hairy crab here, 1 of the 4 must try crabs in Hokkaido. It was so delicious that we had to order a second one.

If you get bored of the seafood sashimi or sushi, this is the place where you can get variety of food. I ordered Butadon which was very delicious. I loved the smell of the charcoal. The pork was tender and juicy. The sauce was not that sweet and not that salty. It was a good combination with rice. Kaisendon was also fresh and varies of the seafood. The soup was delicious with a seaweed. The staffs were nice and helpful. Even you were not able to speak English but there was an English menu to serve you. The price and the portion were reasonable.

Just next to the market, food here is really good and fresh. I love the surf clam the most the texture is amazing. The squid were good too. Tried the grilled lamb and beef skewers didn't disappoint too. It's good they have both fresh and grilled cooked food here. Lots of photos so just point and order. Price is very reasonable.

Delicious, fresh and affordable seafood right by the famous market. There's a huge menu, with English names and the waitress who served us also spoke some English. We got our orders within 10 minutes of ordering, and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all when we visited during a late morning. The miso soup they serve is quite unique too - it has a lot of seaweed in it. The seafood bowl (choose 4) I had came with clams, shrimp, and abalone so fresh that I could still taste some of the sea saltiness in them. We definitely recommend stopping here for a good meal, if you're looking for great quality seafood in Hakodate!

Fresh seafood made either sashimi or grilled. Not many people when I was there around 11 ish. Wthl all the food pictures to point to, you do not need to worry not knowing what or how to order with the wait staffs.
