Hmmmmm, yeah it was a positive and negative experience for me unfortunately. The service was good and I even liked the little animals drawn on the reserved plates buttttttt, I wish I could say the same about the food. I ordered mango smoothie which was pretty good but the pizza that I ordered hm… well… yeah… let’s just say that it wasn’t the “best” pizza i ever had. But, then again, I wasn’t very hungry and I didn’t want to order a bowl of pasta. The pizza was very hard and tough to cut into. When I bit into it, it was very hard to chew. The sauce was pretty underwhelming too and the overall flavour was very oily. Learn from my mistake and don’t order the pizza lol But, I do find comfort in dining at Tully’s Coffee as I did spent an hour in Kyoto at a Tully’s Coffee, reading and it was very peaceful - I won’t let this one bad experience ruin future experiences.

View on GoogleThe food and the drink were both pretty good. The cashier lady was very nice and friendly. They are located in a busy train station, so they limit 90 mins to sit at the table which is a fair policy that tables have a higher chance of being available.
View on GoogleSmell should be the fourth option, after atmosphere. The doors parted and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted me. The lady baristas helped me choose what I needed, using an English language menu. I used my newly acquired IC card to purchase my cappuccino. I was handed a beeper to tell me when my cappuccino was ready. Nice and frothy with a nice tasting brew.
View on GoogleA small live saver, as there's not much open in the train station before 11. You get a good breakfast as well as a good coffee and some sweets. The staff speaks decent English, the Macha latte is tasty and the cakes not too sweet. Recommend getting a table at the counter, so you can actually enjoy your coffee and cake while watching the people buzzling outside, as you have a great view on the Hakodate morning market.
