・Payment: ・Shipping: -------------- We are Hokkari (北菓り), selling Coin Pancakes, small bite-sized pancakes. Besides taiyaki that is particular about the deliciousness of the batter, you can also enjoy coffee, parfaits, and light meals. Our most popular item is the "Hokkaido Melon Frozen Juice". Melons harvested in summer are fully ripened and then frozen. Those melons are blended to make a frozen juice! The melon flavor is rich and delicious! When you come to Hakodate, please feel free to visit our shop.

We met the owner today while exploring Hakodate and he was very kind and attentive as we talked about many different things. We enjoyed a couple of beers and a non-alcoholic blended melon drink that was super delicious! If we ever find ourselves in Hakodate again, we will sure to be back.

Had apple cream and Cheese potato - absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly nice, talked to us (in Japanese) for a while and gave us a free taiyaki!

The friendly, well-informed owner runs the shop all by themselves. Since it's made after the order is taken, it takes a bit of time. The batter is ordinary but the filling is delicious. The squid yakisoba has thin, slightly firm noodles and is delicious. Next time I'd like to buy the single items. Even when it's not a regular closing day, the shutter is down when they have a stall at a local event.

I'll dare to post a photo of the secret menu The quality of the secret menu is at a level, no, a sense of taste, that even I, who have eaten all sorts of things across Japan, acknowledge Cooking is ultimately about taste, isn't it Compared to lining up after reading a guidebook and eating a "well, that's about what I expected" lunch for 1500 yen where they just tweaked a ready-made sauce a little, this is far better value The commitment to the iced coffee is amazing too The exquisite sweetness and richness of the taiyaki's anko and cream, only those who understand should go It would be a problem if it got too crowded, I want it to stay a hidden gem, it's that kind of hideaway "cafe

I learned about this shop when they were at a regional products fair held at a local department store. The owner's service at the time was very good and the taiyaki was delicious, so I paid a visit. This time too I had the Apple Custard. The balance between the moderately sweet custard and the apple is very good, delicious. There's also the standard taiyaki, but this is a shop where you can enjoy the unusual fillings as well.
