Went there under a tour end of 2019. The scallop rice, ebi, claypot salmon and tea were simply amazing. There is a red torii gate beside the restaurant overlooking the Hakodate city

They simply did not accept us for no reason, while Japanese people were having lunch. Owner said “only on reservation” despite 20 tables were available. Don’t go if you are a foreigner.
