On 2026-04-24, I got off at the Hakodate tram stop "Kashiwagicho" and walked 2-3 minutes. When I turned left, the cherry trees were in full bloom, and I exclaimed that it was truly so beautiful. Around 5-6 PM is the most beautiful time, when the brilliant sunlight of the sunset illuminates the cherry blossoms and makes them especially beautiful. Worth recommending.

A really nice little path But when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, there are lots of people and lots of cars. Be careful when taking photos 🙏

A small street running north-south in the southeast of Goryokaku, on the west side of Yunokawa Onsen, but as its name suggests, about 100 Somei Yoshino trees line a stretch of roughly 800 m, forming a tree-lined avenue. In spring, the tunnel of fully bloomed cherry blossoms is magnificent, so when moving from spots in the east such as Yunokawa Onsen, the Trappist Monastery, and Hakodate Airport to the city center, I think making a small detour here will also become a travel memory. ■Reservation: Not required ■Fee: Free ■Access: Right after getting off at the Hakodate tram stop "Kashiwagicho" ■Note: ※This is a residential-area street used in daily life and many cars pass through, so consideration is needed when sightseeing.

The weather wasn't very good, but the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Goryokaku and Hakodate Park are lovely, but the cherry-lined avenue here is quite something too. Getting off at the Kashiwagicho tram stop and wandering along the tree-lined street is the best. I wonder how far it is from the tram street to Tsuruha? Since it's an ordinary residential area, you need to stroll with consideration. It's a truly lovely tree-lined avenue. Next to Tsuruha is the Lucky Pierrot Hitomi branch, great for lunch at midday.
