The parfaits made by the friendly master are recommended. There are many kinds of parfait, with funny names that make you laugh, and the prices are reasonable too: 『Namara Dekkai Parfait』 0.75–1.8K yen. Basically it's a retro Showa-style coffee shop, so the food menu with morning sets, Napolitan, and so on is also extensive. I hope this coffee shop goes on forever!
View on Google※This is a review from a month ago; I wrote the parfait's weight as an estimated 600g, but it seems I underestimated it, so I'm correcting it. The fresh cream and the fruit are about 150g each. The ice cream is about 500g. The total weight of 800g is surely right. After all, the container is like a big flower vase. From re-examining the bulk and weight of each ingredient, and from the heavy feeling in my stomach after eating, I think this is a fair estimate. ーーーーーー I had the chocolate Namara Dekkai Parfait. When I ordered, the master said, "Are you okay with this so early in the morning?" I replied, "Probably fine." After waiting less than 10 minutes, the Namara Dekkai Parfait appeared. Since one of the reviews here wrote that it comes in something the size of a big flower vase, I had imagined it beforehand, and what came out was almost within expectations, so I thought "I can do this" and started eating. First I took down about half of the cream and fruit on top. This alone is the amount of one elegant parfait. Then from here I set about wiping out the generously packed ice cream. More than the amount or sweetness, the coldness unexpectedly hits. When I had wiped out about 70% of the ice cream, the chocolate sauce launched quite an attack, so I blunted its attack with the fruit I'd saved. And finally, the mixture of the small amount of melted ice cream and chocolate sauce. This, honestly, is cloying. Naturally, given how much I'd eaten to get here. But I, who am trained by constantly eating sweets, was not about to lose in a place like this, so I devoured it until I could no longer scoop it with the spoon. It was my first time eating this much at once. After finishing, I felt like I didn't want anything sweet anymore today. "Oh, you cleared it," said the master. On my way out, we chatted briefly, and the master said he was born in Showa 17. Wow, so vigorous. When I come to Hakodate again, I'll come next time for something not so hard, so stay well.
View on Google20 years have passed, but! The taste hasn't changed, the size hasn't changed! The master has gotten older, I suppose? But he's as fun-loving as ever! The parfait is named "Million Dollar Night View", and the two of us shared it♪ 20 years ago I ate it all by myself though♪ It really is the most delicious parfait in Hakodate!
View on GoogleThe parfait is generous in volume, and the fresh fruit is delicious too. I ate it for 500 yen with the Runpass, but I think even the regular price of 750 yen is a good deal. It isn't padded out with cornflakes, the ice cream is packed in properly, and the homemade whipped cream isn't sweet but rich, old-fashioned in style but delicious. The shop is old and cash only, but I think it's good.
View on GoogleSweet and delicious fresh fruit that doesn't lose to either the chocolate sauce or the ice cream, mellow fresh cream, and above all a parfait not padded out with cornflakes, starting from 750 yen. If this were Takano Fruit Parlor, it would probably be a 1700 yen class, lol. I'd guess the fruit changes by season. There are stairs and it's a very hard shop to enter, but it's not scary. The master is a funny older man and may be a little hard of hearing, so order loudly and clearly, lol. The Napolitan is loaded with seafood.
