We went there because we were in the area and looking for a café to kill some time in so we could head up the Hakodate mountain after dark. The lemone ice didnt dissapoint at all! It was exactly like in other Google reviews! This was also one of the big reasons why we went there.
View on GoogleI heard nice things about this cafe from a friend and after visiting, I have to agree! It’s a cute French style cafe with bright and flashy interior. I ordered a cake (I believe it’s called Laurence SS). The waiter explained it’s a French style cake. It was very delicious and not too sweet! The cake is filled with a delicious cream with fruit bits and an outside layer of berry mousse. Another dessert I tried was their lemon parfait. I rarely see lemon parfaits on menus but this parfait is one of the best parfaits I’ve ever had. It’s not too tangy and the perfect amount of cream and lemon. It has a crème brûlée topping, which was fun! I enjoyed every last bite of this parfait so I highly recommend it! I will definitely come back to order the lemon parfait again. 🍋🍨
View on GoogleAccidentally found this restaurant after finished visiting old british museum. Menu is all Japanese, but no problem by translating using Google camera translate. We ordered two set meals: one with cabonara spaghetti; the other salad set. Food presentation is good looking, surprise came when we took our meal, food ingredients are fresh, and the cook really pay attention on preparation. Triple thumbs up for breads, excellent texture and softness, it has been a long time since I taste this kind of soft bread. Shop itself got around 6 parking space, and it is not far from tram station.
View on GoogleRelaxing cafe with gorgeous desserts and drinks. Had spicy hot cocoa and a cheesecake. Just the cream on top of the cake was the best I ever had. Lovely. Cookies are brilliant too, perfect for dunking in tea. Will have to come back before we leave Hakodate!
View on GoogleAmazing food! Very cute atmosphere and neat area to walk around. Got off on the wrong streetcar stop and we are so glad we did. The cappuccino and maple cappuccino were yum, and the lunch set blew us away! Together we got the scrabbled egg pita, prosciutto and cream cheese pita, garlic and avocado quiche, and quiche lorraine. The set came with a pasta salad, salad, and soup. EVERYTHING was delicious. Only down side was no english menu, but we managed with Google translate and very polite servers. If you go to Hakodate, this should be a top spot!
