Lucky Pierrot’s Marina Suehiro branch is one of those places that instantly reminds you that you are in Hakodate and nowhere else in Japan. From the outside alone, it already feels different. Bright colors, bold signage, and that slightly chaotic charm that Lucky Pierrot is famous for set the mood even before you step inside. What I really liked about this branch is its relaxed, local vibe. Compared to some of the busier Lucky Pierrot locations, Marina Suehiro feels a bit more laid-back, making it a comfortable stop whether you are visiting with family or just taking a quiet break during a day of exploring Hakodate. The interior stays true to the brand’s quirky personality, but it does not feel overwhelming. As expected, the food delivers that classic Lucky Pierrot experience. The Chinese Chicken Burger is still the star, with its crispy, sweet-savory chicken that somehow always hits the spot. Portions are generous, and the prices feel fair, especially considering how filling the meals are. It is not gourmet fast food, but it is satisfying in a very Hakodate way. The Marina Suehiro location also benefits from its surroundings. Being close to the waterfront adds to the overall experience, especially if you visit during a relaxed afternoon. It feels like a place where locals genuinely come to eat, not just something designed purely for tourists.

Saw good reviews on this hamburger restaurant and since hotel nearby decided to try out the food. Plenty of seats on a Wed evening we even got a seat facing the harbour. Ordered a Chinese chicken burger and a port cutlet burger. The burgers tasted delicious - easily one of the best burgers I’ve tasted and the price is really affordable. Can understand why this is such a popular choice though typically I will avoid fast food. In fact returned the next to try out their egg burger - completing their top 3 most popular burgers sold. Ambience is quirky fun and comfortable casual. You can also buy their range of merchandise in a shop inside the restaurant.

The burgers were good. Their sesame seed buns were soft and fluffy. I had their number burger with the Chinese chicken. I found the chicken ok with nice flavours. My partner had pork katsu which tasted delicious. Fries were good but not as seasoned as I liked. I found the decor too much stimulation for me with lots of things happening. Service was quick and efficient and polite. The food came out super quick.

Visited this famous Hakodate burger chain for lunch while visiting the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse. . My sis, my mom and I ordered the Special Chinese Chicken Burger (JPY638). It featured large chunks of deep-fried chicken coated in a sweet and savoury Chinese-style glaze. It was served with crisp Hokkaido lettuce and a generous amount of their signature creamy mayonnaise on a sesame bun. It also included both a fried egg and cheese that made the burger even more satisfying. My dad ordered the Soy Sauce Burger (JPY473). It featured a juicy beef patty dipped in a rich, sweet, and salty soy-based teriyaki glaze, topped with plenty of crisp Hokkaido lettuce and signature mayo. My bro ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry (JPY924). It featured large, thick pork cutlets that were freshly breaded and fried until golden and crispy. They were paired with dark, rich, home-style Japanese curry that had a pleasant sweetness. Some of us paired our meals with Fries and Croquette. The fries were thickly cut and very filling, while the croquette had a crispy coating of coarse panko, deep-fried to a dark golden brown. My parents and my sis also had Oolong tea, which helped cut the greasiness of the food. My bro's gf ordered the Lucky Perriot Guarana Float (JPY450). The house-brand soda tasted like a cross between ginger ale and root beer with a unique herbal sweetness. Topped with soft-serve ice cream, it melted into a creamy, foamy treat similar to a vanilla cream soda. . The interior blends Lucky Pierrot’s quirky clown aesthetic with a nautical, vintage American diner vibe. Large box-style booths comfortably seat a family of six, and window seats offer direct views of ships in Hakodate Bay. . The resto uses a "pay-first" system: queue at the counter to order, then grab a number. It's better to have someone snag a booth while others wait for the food. . As a featured spot in the 2024 Detective Conan film, the resto is decked out with Conan, Heiji, and Kaito Kid decor. There’s also an in-house souvenir corner selling everything from T-shirts to their famous pre-packaged curry.

Hakodate’s famous fast food chain, there are quite a number of stalls in town. But this one is my favorite, the stall is big and wide. The view is super beautiful with sea and port view beside the window. We tried the chinese chicken burger and the pork and sunny side up. We also tried a milk shake. It was delicious and the portion were super generous!! We saw someone with the fried rice and egg omelet and wanted to try it the next day but to our disappointment, it was not on sale for the breakfast menu.
