A must try, unique Hakodate experience. A slightly surreal place serving pretty good value, tasty fast food. We went after dark and felt like we were in David Lynch movie. The excellent American vintage music added to the fun atmosphere. The menu was huge and worth checking out before you arrive. The signature Chinese chicken burger was great. The omlete with fried rice was huge and could easily be shared. The queue was pretty long but the servers are excellent and it doesn't take too long.

Important rules to follow: ~Line up if there is a queue. There is no sign in. Just wait inline for your turn! ~Order FIRST, THEN get a seat. There's dozens of signs everywhere that say this in ENGLISH and Japanese. Don't be that idiot in the other Google review who couldn't read and walked out to his own stupidity. ~Once done ordering, they'll give you a yellow tag with a number and a slip for you to write down the table number you sat in. The numbers are on the edge of the tables. Then return the slip to the cashier area, RED BOWL. ~Display the yellow tag clearly for the waiters to find you ~After eating, clean up your own trays to the return area Now time for the review: The wait was long even on a Monday night. But the food came quick! Ordered the set but I wanted to add fried egg and cheese, so I had to order everything separately. The fries were average but the burger was AMAZING. Like a teriyaki chicken in a burger. Buns are incredibly soft and lots of crunchy lettuce. Friend egg and cheese add on is totally worth it. Great flavor combo and would definitely come again. There's also a souvenir corner with pretty cool stuff.

Lucky Pierrot is a must-try when you're in Hakodate, and it's easy to see why it's so popular. The burgers were delicious, the portions were generous, and the menu had plenty of unique choices that you won't find at typical fast food chains. The fun, quirky interior also adds to the experience. The only downside was how crowded it was. We had to wait quite a while for a table, and the restaurant felt very busy throughout our visit. If you can, try coming outside of peak meal times. Overall, it's still a great place to experience one of Hakodate's iconic local burger chains.

I went around 10 AM and was able to line up, order food and choose a table without too much trouble. For the Chinese chicken burger I really liked the bun, it was soft and smelled really nice. The fried chicken was hot and tasty too, but the sauce was a little sweeter than I expected. The Chinese chicken curry was really good. The curry sauce was rich and flavorful and it went perfectly with the rice and chicken. The fries here are served with sauce poured over them, so they end up a bit soft and soggy instead of crispy. If I visit Hakodate again, I’d definitely stop by and eat here another time.

A truly unique spot with good food; we visited because we heard it’s a chain very popular with the locals. We ordered the most popular item: the Chinese chicken burger, and I have to say, it’s a really good hamburger. They also offer a wide range of dishes, including Japanese style options. It’s a very interesting and fun place to try if you happen to be in Hakodate.
