Misuzu Coffee, founded in 1932, is the oldest coffee brand in Hokkaido. This is the main store, and it has a wonderful sense of history. Smoking is permitted here, so if you mind the smell of smoke, you might want to visit another branch, though the smoke smell isn't too strong. I was lucky enough to sit by the window right next to three grandmothers in their eighties. They were very cheerful and friendly, and chatted with me. The grandmother sitting furthest from me was smoking, and she coolly paid my bill! The float with coffee-flavored ice cream is delicious—highly recommended

Smoking allowed and even if no ones smoking rn everything there has ALREADY been tainted with the smell of the cigarette. This is not the stores fault since there’s a sign to notice that smoking is ok inside but I just haven’t expected that there could be such a strong smell everywhere. I finished my desert within less than 10 min since the smell was too bad and I had a sense of being soaked by that smell as well. I don’t know if what i ate contained all the harmful ingredients of the cigarette too or not. DO NOT CHOOSE IF U DONT SMOKE.

Before visiting this cafe, you should know this place allows smoking. I accidentally visited after lunch. Old lady smoked almost 20 mins. I couldn’t finish my coffee and left the cafe.

Near Hakodate Station , 5mins by walk. Had been provided good quality cafe n related tools for more than 87 yrs. really warm and welcome atmosphere here.
