Best seafood we’ve had on this trip—hands down. Even after exploring Sapporo and Otaru, this meal stood out. We ordered the uni & ikura donburi, seafood kakiage, grilled cod, and butter grilled scallops. The scallops were easily the best we’ve had—perfectly cooked and incredibly sweet. The uni & ikura were exceptionally fresh and sweet. Even my husband, who isn’t usually big on seafood, loved every dish. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleAccepts credit card, their presentation is nicer but I feel it's more touristy. The cod was super salty, I thought I was eating cured salted fish.
View on Googleif there’s one restaurant at the morning market that you need to try, it’s this one!! everything was so fresh, decently priced and portioned. if i could eat here everyday i could, the uni and ikura was absolutely AMAZING, so amazing that i finished my meal super quickly (im a slow eater)
View on GoogleFresh seafood donburi & delicious Shio ramen with 2 large snow crab legs. Delightful breakfast feast using the meal coupon provided by hotel.
View on GoogleTasty. In all honesty, we chose here because we arrived at Ekini market at 1pm and several seafood restaurants around were already closing; this place was still busy and offered crab bowl which we were hungry for. We weren't disappointed. In addition to the bowl we tried sea urchin and crab gratin (baked with macaroni, bechamel, cheese), butter sauteed squid and fried seafood siu mai. Crab bowl arrived within minutes and the others came out quickly, piping hot. All were fresh and tasty. We aren't huge sashimi fans so perhaps the advantage of eating at the market is wasted on us but we loved the wide a la carte menu of cooked seafood that was enjoyable. The servers were attentive, offered English menu, and we were able to pay with a card.
