View on GoogleAbout 8,000 yen for three people. Not great. Different from the photos. Low satisfaction. It's a sushi restaurant, yet there's no fish-trimmings soup. Miso soup with juvenile scallops: 300 yen. It looks impressive, but the broth has no umami and the scallops smell bad. The small sushi rice is too small and sloppily done. The small rice on a 3-piece plate amounts to 1 piece. It's machine-made rice, but it looks like it's been torn apart. This was the first time I've had sushi where I couldn't tell what fish it was from the topping that arrived. We came because it's near the airport and our flight arrived at night, but it was such a dud that our first meal in Hakodate was a complete disaster.
View on GoogleAn affordable conveyor-belt sushi chain operating mainly in Hakodate. It offers weekday all-you-can-eat options and set menus. It's entirely order-based via touchscreen, and ordered sushi arrives on Shinkansen-shaped trays and the like. There's a slight wait after ordering, but the difference in taste from conveyor-belt sushi restaurants inland is unmistakable. The tuna and such aren't frozen. The squid is distinctive and delicious, too. Outstanding value for money. Located in フレスポ, it's suitable for a meal after shopping or a family outing. Cash, credit cards, QR payments, and barcode payments are accepted.
