Right opposite the Hakodate Morning Market. Owner work by himself, serving 10 people at the same time that take up all the seats in this small restaurant. Cheap price and great quality. For 1500 Yen, two long fresh crab legs and a big bowl of noodle. Best ramen noodle ever!

Best ramen in Hakodate. Don’t take my word for it. It has a google score of 4.8. This small 8 seat shop has the most delightful owner. I got the soy ramen which is his specialty and a blue beer which is actually blue. He closes at 130pm and then opens again for dinner. Stop by if your in Hakodate.

Very good depth of flavour in the broth. It is more like a seafood bisque than what is sometimes just called a seafood "soup". The soup base is definitely not just seafood boiled in water for 5mins before serving. Not sure what's the secret recipe. Timing of the cooking for all items in the mixed seafood ramen were on the dot. Squid is cooked and not rubbery. Prawn was still crunchy. Noodles nice and bouncy. He has obviously mastered the art of timing which items to add in at what interval. Note that this is a very "local", simple shop. Some people might even consider it unhygienic but I think it's fine. If you need to only eat at spotless restaurants (usually with sterile flavors), you will be happier elsewhere.

A lovely place to have a bowl of authentic Hokkaido Ramen. The owner/chef is very friendly and we truly enjoyed the warm hospitality. We were there exactly 2 years ago on the 4th Dec 2019 and looking forward to visit again in the near future.

Love the seafood soup. A cosy store with little seats, so may be necessary to wait a while. The boss one person handles end to end, quite impressive. Soup with lots of crab and seafood.
