It faces the street, so it was easy to find. When I visited around 17:00, it was still quiet, and I could enter without waiting. This time before the evening rush may be a good choice because you can eat calmly. Orders are placed using a tablet at each table. The menu is very extensive, so choosing took time, but I liked being able to browse carefully at my own pace before calling a staff member. The shrimp fried rice was properly stir-fried with nicely separated grains, and the thick-sauce dishes had a wide variety of ingredients and were satisfying. Each dish has a reasonably generous portion, so sharing with several people would let you enjoy different kinds. Everything was beautifully plated in the photos, and I ended up taking more than intended. Lunch also seems popular with its extensive menu, but if you want a relaxed meal, I recommend the early evening.

For the past 7 years, this has been our regular lunch spot on the day of the 函館マラソン. I’m only there to cheer, though… (haha) My partner says the beer and gyoza here after finishing the half marathon are just the best‼️❤️ So they’re a must. I love the tantanmen here so much I feel like drinking every last drop (haha). If you make a reservation in the morning, you can get a seat without waiting after the run and immediately enjoy an ice-cold beer in an equally ice-cold glass👌🍺

Parking is beside the restaurant It was busy inside, so we wrote down our name and waited a little Ordered チョイスランチ for 1200円 and 1800円, plus shrimp fried rice The shrimp in the fried rice were plump and springy The rice texture was to my liking, but the flavor was a little too salty for me The チョイスランチ choices were 回鍋肉 and sweet-and-sour pork The other one was fried chicken and spring rolls The portions were smaller than expected

I came for the first time with an acquaintance. I had heard about it, and now I understand why it is popular. The parking lot was full, so parking took some time, and then we waited about 20 minutes. Looking at the menu, it’s nice that you can choose what you like! I ordered ホイコーロー. It had a very rich, deep flavor and was delicious. The cost felt a little high, but with this taste and portion size, it makes sense. I’ll visit again if I get the chance!
