On the first day of a three-day weekend, the coffee shop I'd planned to visit was closed temporarily... While heading to another shop, I remembered this place, which people living in the city had introduced on their blogs, so I decided to try it... I was told the iced coffee is also homemade. You order at the counter and pay first. Payment is cash only. They said they'd bring it to your seat. The amount felt a little small, but it was delicious. According to the reviews, it seems they have lunch too! I'd like to use it next time. They seemed to sell drip packs and such too, but I didn't buy any this time. It was empty and I thought it was a hidden gem. I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleA coffee shop inside the Machizukuri Center. You order and pay at the counter first, then they bring it to your seat. When you're done, it's better to take it back to the counter. The jam on the toast set was rhubarb. The coffee is made from freshly ground beans and feels like a cup made with all their heart. Even I, who can only tell whether coffee is strong or light, felt a sweetness within its depth.
View on GoogleI ordered the lunch plate. When I asked until what time lunch is served, they said they can make it anytime as long as there's bread, for ¥850. The boiled egg was cooked just perfectly. The jam was handmade green tomato jam. The butter seemed a bit little, but the thick sliced bread itself was delicious without spreading much. The vegetables were fresh too. Simple Is best. The staff were kind.
View on GoogleThe building is wonderful, and the café on its first floor is calm and lets you enjoy a very luxurious time. The coffee and café au lait had a solid coffee flavor, and I could feel the care put into them. I thought it would be nice if there were more kinds of sweets that go well with the coffee.
