おろろん食堂 is a popular dining spot known for serving delicious amaebi dishes, a must-try for seafood lovers. With a great selection of dishes including tempura, sea urchin, and amaebi, this restaurant offers a true taste of the local flavors. During the summer season, the restaurant can get quite busy, as many visitors flock to enjoy its fresh and flavorful seafood offerings. Its location across from Haboro Roadside Station and Haboro Rose Garden makes it a convenient stop for travelers looking to refuel after exploring the area. However, it's worth noting that the restaurant might be closed during the winter months, so it’s a good idea to check ahead before planning your visit. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a great meal, おろろん食堂 is a top choice when in Haboro.
View on GoogleThe charm of old town, non touristy and nice food!! Famous for amaebi!! Had the seafood don!! Perfect at 3500 yen!!
View on GoogleTotally surprised that the ebi-ikura don came in a beautiful set like it. Fresh and absolutely delicious.
View on GoogleVery sweet prawns. We had lunch : sweet prawn sashimi set 1600yen ( total 16 prawns ) & Shio prawn ramen 1000yen ( total 8 prawns ). Very yummy in a cold rainy day. 5 mins drive away there's a seafood shop. 1 box of sweet prawns 500g ( medium size ) 1200yen. Easily 30 to 40 sweet prawns. Small size 300g 650yen. Those on budget can buy these and add on top of a bowl of rice!
View on GoogleI visited on a holiday near the end of the 2025 summer season, just as the noon siren finished sounding. It wasn't high season, so there were only about 3 other groups. I ordered the seafood don at the meal ticket machine. The rice can be changed after you sit down, such as 「switch to vinegared rice, large portion」, as an option for 100–200 yen. The ordered donburi came with fried herring, which put me in a great mood. The donburi toppings centered on seafood from the local coastal waters, and looked good too. While being soothed by the charm of the floor staff, I was able to experience a port-town eatery. (Late August 2025)
