I stayed at the hotel for 1 night with 2 meals included. Dinner was exceptionally delicious. The sashimi and simmered dishes were all full of umami, beautifully presented, and very tasty 🤩 Breakfast was also delicious, but not as good as dinner 😋 I had seafood curry for lunch, and that was delicious too 😋

I went to Haboro for work For lunch I visited 二島物語 inside the roadside station ほっとはぼろ♡はぼろ which also adjoins はぼろ温泉サンセットプラザ I have visited this roadside station several times but this was my first time eating here There are many tables lined up inside Since it was before lunchtime there were only a handful of customers I looked at the menu Haboro is known for sweet shrimp so I considered the pasta using those shrimp (with Américaine sauce) but since I'm not very fond of crustaceans, I put that on hold While also considering soba and udon, which are more my thing I finally chose the zangi set meal Water is self-service The weather was supposed to be good but I looked out the window at heavy, low-hanging fog Before long, the food arrived The set includes ５ pieces of zangi, salad, miso soup, pickles, and rice The zangi comes with lemon so I tried squeezing that over it too I started with the zangi right away Freshly fried and piping hot The flavor is generally light I think both ginger and garlic are used but neither makes much of an impression The saltiness is also mild Perhaps the miso soup contains wakame The salad is cabbage with something like aurora sauce The pickles are takuan with a typical flavor Precisely because none of the flavors really stood out I thought the seasoning suited a dining spot at a roadside station visited by people of many generations Thank you for the meal, I was grateful

The sweet shrimp rice bowl is superb. It's a roadside station restaurant, but perhaps because it's inside a hotel, it was quiet and very pleasant.

The hot spring in Haboro that also serves as a roadside station Dinner looked good too, so I ate here Sweet shrimp shio ramen ¥1200 A light chicken-stock-based shio broth topped with 3 fried sweet shrimp The taste was so-so There was less shrimp flavor than I expected Perhaps because the shrimp are added on top rather than used for the broth The shrimp and octopus gyoza also fell short of expectations Neither the shrimp nor the octopus really shines; it feels like gyoza filled with kamaboko The hot spring water makes your skin feel silky and was fairly good There are plenty of facilities, many types of baths, and an open-air bath, so no complaints The massage room also actually had someone on duty, which helped me unwind Overall score 4　Food 3 Thank you for the meal
