Found out the town was famous for sweet prawns and we dropped by for a snack even though we had a heavy breakfast. Excellent and fresh. Prawns were sweet and even the octopus was tasty and chewy. Do sample the products in the shop too. A small eatery with indoor and outdoor seating. Easy to locate.

Drove 3 hours just for this bowl of sweet shrimp rice - totally worth it! Every time I come to Hokkaido, I make sure to have a bowl and buy a box of sweet shrimp to take home. It’s unbelievable delicious. The ice cream is also amazing! The two ladies working there were so friendly and polite 💕

The shrimp don here is fresh and sweet. There are not many quality dining options along the west coast on the way to Wakkanai, so this place is a great stop for a quick and satisfying lunch.

The food is delicious and very fresh. The inside has comfy, stylish seating and modern style. The outside had nice seating, but it is on the highway so it's not the quietest place to enjoy your meal. In addition to a lovely shrimp bowl, I purchased the tomato shrimp pasta sauce which made 4 large servings of delicious shrimp pasta.

Abi don is delicious. The set menu of abi is at good value. Highly recommended.
