We made the right decision to come here. We didn’t expect anything at first, we just know that the price is reasonable, but it is surprisingly good. The food is very delicious, even the oysters are really good. The set meal is big, bowl of rice and ramen. There is no English menu, and staffs are not good with English either, but it is not too difficult to communicate. They are not super friendly, but not tense either. The variety of food is not a lot, but also not too little, just right. The food is a little slow, consider that the restaurant is rather small. It is understandable. The place is quite small with few tables. Looks quite old and local, simple but not too shabby. There is also many manga to read while waiting. The price is really good. Most people who visit here are local working people. Overall really recommend this place.

A very very local Japanese food eatery. Do not ask for English menu since there is none. Paper menu and those posted on the wall are the only ones to look at. The price is unbelievably cheap and food is home made by grandma and served by daughter. For $6 will get you a friend rice and ramen set. Expect wait time for the table and food… be patient and you will be rewarded with best cost performance mean in Furano. Not the best in town but very very affordable and a chance to taste the food where the locals go. Again, be patient and bring cash. Don’t expect to use your American Express or bitcoins on tiny stores here in Japan. Expect floor seating instead of table seating… if you have bad knees, this may not be the restaurant for you. Parking is in the back of the restaurant and do not park in the apartment next door. It is full most of the time so prepare to wait.

I can recommend this restaurant. A local canteen for the local people, the food is wholesome and filling. I had the special, seasonal tempura shrimp and scallop. The meal had a choice of ramen or miso soup. The meal was scrumptious and the seasonal pickles had the flavour of summer. Parking - You can park behind the store or down the street. Wait time - This local canteen had a wait time and it reflects the quality and taste of the food. Well worth the wait.

A local recommended this curry omu rice place to us and it was hands down the best meal ever! It is a small place run by just one lady, it felt so homely and charming, as if we are visiting her home and having a meal at her living room. There is no English menu but google translate helped us, it was easy enough. We ordered the curry omelette rice which was heavenly, and a grilled pork set. Definitely recommend this place!!
