Best tonkatsu I’ve ever had in my life !! Super tasty, good menu and great value, you definitely need to either reserve a spot or get in early if your bringing a big group, I was only for 1, so I got seated easily. But this spots super popular so either be prepared to wait or reserve a spot (mainly Japanese speaking, not a lot of English so you may need google translate)

Cosy authentic Japanese place for lunch/dinner. But do come earlier than their stated operating hours cause they might close earlier than expected. They’ve got an English menu even though the couple running the place doesn’t speak English. Mackerel was really well done. I also came back a second time with my family for their hotpot and it was excellent too.

Cute little place run by an old couple. Long lines and a bit hap hazard how the line and seating works. Seems to be choose your own when there are seats... but very tasty meal sets.

World wide number one kani( crab meat) cream croquette. Beer in ice cold mug. Thick and well fried Don katsu.

This place gets crazy busy and doesn't take reservations. But have the patience to wait and you'll be well rewarded. Tonkatsu was tender and juicy. The beef for the sukiyaki was beautiful! All at great value!
