A small robatayaki restaurant that is family owned. Once you stepped into the restaurant, you are welcomed by the cozy and traditional robatayaki deco and the warm smile from the owner. Guests are all seated round the table with a small stove in the center. Though the actual grilling is no longer done there, you still get to experience the ‘gathering round the table’ eating and chit chatting experience. We ordered scallop and tuna sashimi, minced meat skewers, grilled mackerel, fried chicken and boiled green asparagus. While the plating is nothing fanciful, the taste of the food is fresh and delicious. Definitely can match those in the big restaurants. The garlic fried rice that the group sitting next to me ordered smells heavenly. Would definitely want to try it out when I come back the next time.
View on GoogleFood was pretty good and decent but the undisclosed foreigner tax was real. We were charged at least 2000 Yen extra. Owner hardsells a lot especially on off menu items. But even accounting that we were still charged way more than what we ordered (at least 2000 yen). It’s not the cost but the principle. If you’ve disclosed seating charge or foreigner charge we would be cool. No breakdown of total and clearly overcharging. Also poor ventilation in the restaurant so be prepared to get your eyes smoked.
View on GoogleA hidden gem in Furano! Probably one of the most authentic and traditional izakaya experiences we’ve had. Our favourite dishes were the chicken skin, garlic fried rice, asparagus, cucumber, chicken ball and oysters — honestly, almost everything here was incredibly fresh and delicious. We made a reservation through AutoReserve with a fee involved — not too sure if there’s another way to secure a seat here, but it was definitely worth it.
View on GoogleThe food was really delicious especially the grilled snapper, oyster in ponzu sauce and unagi liver stick. There was an English menu and the owner could speak minimal English but it was understandable. However, wasn't expecting the bill to be 2000yen more than what I calculated. Not sure what contributed to the additional charges as they only gave the final cost without the breakdown. It was expensive and I think we got ripped off. So beware. With that, I'll give it 2 stars.

Thumbs up for the services and food as well as having us for the dinner. When we left the shop, the shop is full with customers. The other newcomer customer also asked us for recommendation and they are also satisfied.
