This time I came on July 5th noon time, it is cool under the trees and shades. The log houses are unique and they sell mani kind of souvenirs also some nice cafes are there. Visit in winter time is different and more magical especially during the light up. If you are visiting In summer don’t miss the outdoor activities in the tree adventure furano!
View on GoogleNingle Terrace is an absolute beautiful place! It felt like stepping straight into a woodland fairy tale. The illuminated log cabins and winding wooden pathways nestled in the forest create such an enchanting atmosphere— my daughter was completely captivated by the whole experience. My wife and I really enjoyed taking a relaxing stroll under the trees and browsing the unique, handcrafted artisan goods in each little shop. It's a beautifully maintained, peaceful spot that is perfect for families. I highly recommend visiting in the early evening when the fairy lights come on!
View on GoogleVery quaint little area situated right at the parking lot and opposite a ski resort. The little wooden huts are a shop each and sells small trinkets and items. Nice place to visit for sure. There is a coffeeshop situated inside, but it wasn't open when I visited.
View on GoogleA really unique and aesthetic location! Perfect for a quiet, peaceful walk in the woods. There are small craft shops with handmade products and a coffee shop along the trail. Just keep in mind that it's in a natural forest setting, so watch out for falling caterpillars!
View on GoogleNingle Terrace felt like stepping straight into a fairy tale. The small wooden cottages tucked away among the trees create such a magical atmosphere that it almost feels unreal. Walking along the winding wooden paths between the cabins was one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Hokkaido. I visited when there wasn’t any snow on the ground, and honestly, I couldn’t help but imagine how incredible this place must look during a snowfall. The entire time I was there, I found myself wishing it was snowing because it already felt like something out of a storybook. With fresh snow covering the trees and rooftops, I think it would be absolutely breathtaking. The little shops themselves were wonderful to explore. There were so many unique handmade products, from crafts and artwork to gifts that you won’t find in ordinary souvenir stores. You can really tell that a lot of care, skill, and passion goes into the things being sold here. That said, many of the items were a bit too expensive for my budget, so I ended up leaving empty-handed. Still, I can’t really complain. These are handmade products created by talented local artists and craftspeople, and a man’s gotta make a living somehow, ya know? Even though I didn’t buy anything, I genuinely enjoyed browsing and admiring the craftsmanship. As the lights began to glow around the terrace, the whole place became even more enchanting. It was peaceful, cosy, and unlike anywhere else I’ve visited in Japan. Whether you’re shopping, taking photos, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, Ningle Terrace is absolutely worth a visit. I just hope I can come back one day when the snow is falling. ❄️🌲✨ :3
