I visited with my daughter and absolutely loved it! The museum is housed in a charming, old school building and offers free admission, making it a great educational stop for families. We explored the eight exhibition sections covering Furano's natural environment, early settlement, development, industry, folk life, Taishō/Showa eras, education, and postwar history—there was so much to learn. Both of us enjoyed interactive displays like bone specimens and snow-insect life cycle panels, which made the visit engaging and fun. Parking is easy and on-site, and the weekday crowd was low, letting us explore at our own pace.

Has alot of artifacts from the past and it is more like an education center than a museum. Housed in an old school and documented the rich local culture and history. Entry is free.. if you are into old nostalgic stuff, this might be worth a visit.

At the older street of south Furano, not easily assessible without a car, not a main attraction for tourists but a good place if you want to know a little more about how Furano is been developed other than going to watch the flower fields in summer and ski in winter.
