Fantastic place - large portion sizes, fresh vegetables included in every meal. Service was amazing and friendly. Big homely feel. You cannot book so I recommend getting there early and be prepared to wait. You can sit outside in a converted bus, but make sure you pay in advance. Upon arriving, make sure you write your name down on the list with the amount of people in your group. That’s how they seat people as English is limited from the staff. This place is a must when in Furano and we will be back again!
View on GoogleSo great! Thank you for the hospitality! My family arrived around closing time but thankfully the restaurant was still open. The place is small AND it's cozy and such a vibe. The furniture has a worn, loved texture to it and some floorboards creak, adding to the texture of the atmosphere, along with the jazz music in the background. It's giving Studio Ghibli and the owners were super friendly. The most eye-catching thing were the many small papers and photographs stuck artfully around the eating tables, left by pleased eaters. The decor is so delightfully kitsch and yes, whimsical and unique. There's even a school bus outside that caught my eye when we drove past the establishment. Coming from a food-oriented nation (Singapore...) and being very food focused and motivated...the food here was very, very good. Close to excellent. It reminded me of midnight diner or solitary gourmet, even Anthony bourdain's eating moments where it's like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity of eating this delicious food. The salad came first. But the real stars were the hot food 🤤. First of all, the presentation is so retro and cute and it just looks great. AND the food tastes as good or even better than it looks. The curry rice (to be fair, haven't tasted other curry rice yet), was piping hot and went very well with the rice. The roasted vegetables were also excellent, with the richness of the oil / butter complementing well with the earthy, sweet flavours of each of them. Beef stew tastes like beef stew should taste, like there's a bit of chocolate in it. Finally, the chicken steak was super tender and juicy. Every set came with pumpkin soup or chicken consommé. The pricing was really fair too, especially considering the portion size and the food quality. AND THE VIBES. Trust me, you wouldn't miss want to miss this.
View on GoogleAlthough the menu is quite limited, we ended up visiting twice and tried four different dishes — every single one was excellent. The portions were generous, the flavours were spot‑on, and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly. It’s a busy little shop, but the food is consistently impressive and absolutely worth the wait.
View on GoogleThe ambiance is very cute , cozy and like dinner at auntie's home. Food is good, tasted like home cooking ie. Furano cheese Pizza, chicken steak, Hamburg espcially pumpkin soup in the meal. The pruce is very reasonable with portion and tasted. Recommend !
View on GoogleFantastic food! Highly recommend this spot. We shared the Kazamidori original curry with rice and the beef stew with rice, both of which included roasted vegetables. Both meals were excellent, especially the beef stew. The beef itself was exceptionally tender. We ordered the drink & dessert set and it came with a crème brûlée ice cream afterward, which was also quite good. The service was welcoming and kind, and there were English translations of the menu. The quiet jazz music playing was serene. Definitive 5 stars for this dinner!
