View on GoogleIn early April 2026, I made a reservation for 11:30 and visited with my family. The restaurant filled up as soon as it opened. Even with a reservation, it took just under 1 hour for the gyoza, fried rice, shrimp in chili sauce, mapo tofu, and other dishes to all arrive at the table. I do have a few things to say about the wait, but even so, the mapo tofu and gyoza were incredibly delicious. Seeing how crowded it was, it's so popular that I imagine there may be days when you can't eat without a reservation. Booking ahead is recommended if you plan to visit. For people living in the Sorachi area, I think it's worth making a special trip. If you're bringing children, I recommend combining it with Fukagawa City's heated swimming pool 「ア・エール」, which has a water slide and a lazy river. Enjoying delicious Chinese food after plenty of play would make for a very satisfying family day. Even accounting for the wait, this was a delicious Chinese restaurant I'd want to eat at again.
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant in Fukagawa that draws queues! People line up before it opens! The food is simply delicious, but it takes a long time to arrive, so it's best to come with plenty of time😅 The photos show fried rice, the チンジャオロースー set, and the stir-fried garlic shoots and pork set✨
View on GoogleDelicious. A restaurant worth making a special trip for. It's about 40 minutes from home, and I often go for lunch. A few years ago, reservations were possible. Now they aren't, but when I called, they held seats for us, which I appreciated. Long ago, the old man who seemed to be the owner was very careless and rough in his service. This time he wasn't there, and part-time staff had taken over, making the service very pleasant. Now, whenever I go here, I already know what I want to eat. The 四川麻婆豆腐 is really spicy but delicious. But spicy. Eating it with rice is absolutely best. The pan-fried gyoza wrappers are handmade too, and when you bite in, the meat juices gush out. The stir-fried liver and garlic chives uses liver that is briefly deep-fried before stir-frying, and the flavor itself is delicious. I ordered the zangi as a set meal. It had a slightly tangy sauce on it. This Chinese-style zangi was delicious in its own way, but I'd have preferred no sauce. To finish, I ordered 杏仁豆腐, which was soft, had a distinct apricot-kernel flavor, and was meltingly delicious. All in all, 5000円 for lunch is expensive in monetary terms, but considering the taste, it's so delicious I don't think it's expensive at all. I believe 志峰 does the cooking, but does he have an apprentice? I think this special-grade chef is getting on in years too, so I really hope he'll train a successor. If it were nearby, I could go all the time.
