Creative dishes/desserts mixing Asian and Western styles. I tried the soba/pasta dish and it was truly delicious (quite a hearty serving as well). Highly recommend it.

I had soba pasta, gapao rice, and soba shiratama parfait. Every dish had a gentle flavor that seemed to convey the owner's warm personality directly, and everything was delicious. I especially recommend the soba shiratama parfait. Along with the chewy soba shiratama, the combination of anko, vanilla ice cream, and coffee jelly is exquisite—a beautifully balanced “supreme dish.” The owner does all the cooking alone, so please allow plenty of time when visiting.

It was my first visit to 江差町, and I stopped by because they served lunch a little later and the place looked nice. The soba pasta and soba shiratama parfait looked delicious, so I ordered those. The soba pasta had a lovely soba aroma, and the fairly salty pasta sauce with a refreshing shiso accent was so delicious! The sauce was so good I wanted to drink it all… The combination of monaka, anko, and whipped cream in the soba shiratama parfait had an elegant sweetness and was delicious! The soba shiratama was chewy and fragrant, and delicious on its own too. But but, eating it with the coffee jelly underneath and the ice cream made it even better. Everything complemented everything else, and I was thrilled to discover such a high-quality parfait. The shop was very calm, with a stylish interior and a comfortable atmosphere for relaxing. I didn't order coffee this time, so next time I'd like to relax over a coffee.

I arrived right at opening time, but the closed sign made me panic💦 A little later the owner opened up, what a relief hahaha Working around the ferry schedule, we had soba pasta, gapao rice, and coffee jelly ice cream If we'd had time, I would've liked soba shiratama parfait Classical music was playing when they opened, but when my partner asked for Armstrong (jazz), the owner happily put it on♪ (Since we were the only two customers) The atmosphere was exactly my kind of thing❤️ If we'd had more time, I would've loved to stay longer😭

With a calm atmosphere and jazz playing, it's a coffeehouse that makes you want to relax alone The Napolitan isn't smothered in ketchup, and it's delicious, but the portion is way too big lol Apparently it used to be a soba shop, and sweets made with soba flour are its specialty The soba dango is super chewy Anko, kinako, and kuromitsu are a perfect match I'd love it if they opened in the evening too I want a parfait to finish the night…
