Be careful, if you come from the Ubagami side on the Inishie Kaido, it's a place you might drive right past There's an open terrace but it's hard to see from the road There are 3 seats for two people and 1 seat for 4-5 people Parking has about 3-4 spaces in front of the terrace in front of the shop Fukinko-jiru Zen A fukinko soup full of root vegetables, rich with bonito and kombu broth, along with two-tiered nori rice and 3 small side dishes, served on a tray The lacquerware and chopstick rests had charm and were lovely The texture of the coarsely grated potatoes was an accent in the chewy imo-mochi, and the small size made it easy to eat It's like kenchin-jiru but with restrained sweetness, and even though it was piping hot, I could taste the umami of the ingredients directly The small side dishes were squid and potato, simmered kombu, and stir-fried simmered green beans, each varying between sweet and mildly spicy, which was fun Matcha Float The salted cherry blossom was vivid to both the eyes and the mouth The ice cream and matcha were delicious but the whipped cream was lukewarm and felt off A female owner runs it alone, but with attentive touches like refilling the barley tea and adjusting the direction of the fan, I was able to spend a comfortable time It comes out a little slowly, but because it's an open kitchen and you can see what's going on, I could wait without minding A lovely shop where the owner's pleasantness fills every corner of the place

View on GoogleA shop inside a kura (storehouse). It has a nice atmosphere. I forgot the name of the menu item, but there's Gokattoya's sweet bean paste inside the mochi. The gentle flavor put my heart at ease.
