A family-friendly Chinese restaurant with plenty of good-value lunch options. I had 北のちゃんぽん, which was shown on the restaurant’s sign. It feels like a seafood hotpot with flavorful broth and Chinese noodles, but details such as the shrimp being coated in starch and fried like ebi chili show the care of a Chinese restaurant.

I went for lunch on the festival day. Many places were closed, so I was glad this one was open. I had the hoikoro set, which cost less than a thousand yen and was just the right portion. Parking is to the right of the restaurant and fits 2 cars.

It happened to be near the hotel where I was staying, so I gave it a try. A Chinese restaurant run by an elderly man and woman. It was pretty tasty!

The portions are small, but the flavor is good❗️ An authentic Chinese restaurant that is a rare find in Esashi.
