Apparently the chanko ramen uses a blend of miso, soy sauce, and various other things, and the broth was rich! The recommended spicy miso ramen is pleasantly light and mildly spicy; dissolving the patty-like meat miso turns it into a rich broth, letting you enjoy the changing flavor!
View on GoogleI recommend the chanko ramen. It's very rich, generously topped, and has a hot-pot feel that makes you happy. However, the inconsistency in flavor bothers me. The popular spicy miso ramen was the kind with onions in it too. You dissolve a square block of spicy miso, so you can enjoy the flavor changing. The Japanese-style tonkotsu ramen has a very distinctive taste. It's thoroughly Japanese-style, with so much fish stock that I found it slightly fishy-smelling. The noodles are medium-thin, just my preference. The photo is the version without green onions.

View on GoogleStopped by on my way back from a business trip and had the recommended spicy miso ramen. The thin noodles held the broth well, and it felt nicely balanced. There was an unfamiliar object resembling a chocolate bar, which turned out to be ground meat and spicy seasonings pressed together. Dissolving it gradually while eating changed the heat and umami, which was enjoyable.
View on GoogleApparently they're closing on January 31, 2023. Whenever I had work in 枝幸町 and time for lunch! I'd usually stop by here. The spicy miso ramen, with a slab of spicy miso you dissolve to your liking, is incredibly delicious! When I visited, there seemed to be many people who had heard or seen the news about the closure. They might still be open for the 2 days on the 29th and 30th. Whether you're a regular or have been curious but haven't visited, why not go so you won't regret missing it? Thank you for all the meals over the years.
