Amazing yakitori and genuine Japanese dining and drinking experience. Made us feel very welcome as foreigners we used Google translate to communicate and had the best time! Thank you so much. We will be back!

A yakitori shop one street behind the road in front of Megumino Station, somewhere you wouldn't normally pass. I thought it might be a place for seasoned regulars that's intimidating for first-time visitors, but the friendly owner grills delicious yakitori and fish right in front of you. The monthly menu and otoshi are also thoughtfully inventive and delicious! I always stop by when I land at New Chitose. Recommended.

We came from Taiwan to visit Hokkaido and walked into this place on the evening of 2023.09.07. The owner was very friendly. We didn't understand any Japanese, so we used google translate to communicate and order in real time. In the end, all our Japanese friends in the whole shop joined in chatting through google translate :) :) I highly recommend this place. Not only can you enjoy delicious dishes, but it also makes your trip feel like you're blending in with the locals. So great :D

They put thought into their dishes and serve delicious food.
