It seemed highly rated, so I came for the first time. The interior has an old-fashioned look. This happens at lots of restaurants, but I wish they'd avoid the sticky feel of the tables and chairs. The ramen noodles are from Nishiyama Seimen. I had the miso ramen. The flavor is like adding up niboshi 4, ginger 1, miso 3, and homemade chashu braising liquid 2.
View on GoogleHeard there was good ramen in Engaru, so I visited. Inside, it had a Showa-era vibe, and it seemed to be run by an elderly couple. Ordered the white leek ramen (miso) and the grilled leek ramen. The bowls arrived hardly any time after ordering. Both ramen were the quite light type. For me, it was so-so.
View on GoogleSuper extra spicy miso, mildly spicy miso, and miso. Sunday, 12:00, 3 groups of customers. The super extra spicy has the heat of doubanjiang. Pretty spicy. My friend had the mildly spicy one, and according to them it seemed like regular miso ramen with just a spoonful of doubanjiang added. So apparently it was salty. Both the super extra spicy and the miso had hot, rich soup. The noodles are a bit soft. Listening to the orders of regulars who came in later, it seems you can order "firm noodles.
View on GoogleA warm ramen shop with the vibe of being run the old-fashioned way by a kind-looking elderly owner and, I guess, the owner's wife?(*^^*) It's a ramen shop that's easy for everyone to walk into—families, couples, and solo diners alike. The Hokkaido curly noodles! Both the noodles and soup were delicious, and the gyoza was delicious too☆。.:*・゜ I think I'll go eat there again♪♪
