Lunch at the hotel restaurant. This is about the only city hotel in this town, but I think the quality is fairly high. The prices are also in the usual dining-out range, so you can eat without worrying. The beef stew omurice actually has chicken rice inside, so they put effort into it, while many places just cover plain white rice with egg. The beef stew is pretty good too, and it comes with salad. A little more rice would make it even better. I took away the 遠軽 specialty kanimeshi and the restaurant's recommended ankake yakisoba.

I ate here on ９月１９, and when customers came in, the female staff member said "irasshaimashi〜," which felt odd and made me wonder if I'd mistakenly come to an izakaya. I'd like them to just say the usual "irasshaimase." The place had lots of customers, but since it's a restaurant, I thought saying "irasshaimashi〜" was a little inappropriate. Also, only the black tea at the drink bar came in tea bags, and compared with my idea of a normal drink bar, it would be better to have a range of soft drinks too, but I suppose it can't be helped in the countryside. I'd like to keep coming to this restaurant for my favorite hamburg steak, so please don't remove it from the menu. Just after I came in, I could hear small children a little and there were some things I wasn't pleased about, but small children need places to eat too, so I'll put up with it. I went to restaurants like this when I was a child too, so it can't be helped. Though I don't like it if it's too noisy. I'll come to eat again.
