A grand building that seems out of place in such a small town. It said library, so I dropped by, but unfortunately it was a closed day. Surprisingly, there was also an unmanned station attached, with autumn leaves spread across the empty platform. It was so beautiful!
View on GoogleA literary museum inside the station; it seems to exhibit works related to Okhotsk.
View on Google2nd floor of the library. You can see literary works themed on the Okhotsk region (Hikarigoke, Bakuro Ichidai, Banka, etc.) and handwritten manuscripts by writers from the Okhotsk region (Kato Taichi, Takeda Taijun, Takahashi Kiichiro, Harada Yasuko, etc.). Opening and closing days are the same as the library.
